Conference Monograph

Posted: March 26, 2015

I am excited to announce the deadlines for our peer-reviewed conference monographs. If you presented a session at the 13th Annual Conference, please consider submitting your work to one of these publications.

May 11, 2015 – deadline for the Promising Practices monograph .

June 30, 2015 – deadline for the Research monograph.

Our goal in this inaugural effort is to highlight the work of practitioners and researchers who work with transfer students, often without due notice or recognition. This monograph is not simply a contribution to scholarship–which it surely is–but it is also a way to communicate to like-minded supporters of transfer that this is a topic that needs a wider audience. As a participant in the conference, you represent a generation of professionals and scholars with a responsibility to move the dial on this important national conversation.

Stephen Handel and Eileen Strempel, both accomplished scholars in the transfer field, have agreed to be co-editors of these monographs.
